Timothy P. Kebbe
Tim is a versatile, accomplished litigator and counselor for businesses, individuals and families — with more than 30 years of experience.
His practice includes securities litigation, mediation and arbitration; the defense of enforcement proceedings and investigations brought by the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the National Futures Association (NFA), and the New York State Attorney General’s Office, as well as other state and federal regulatory authorities and self-regulatory organizations; the litigation and arbitration of business disputes involving partners, shareholders of closely held companies, and members of limited liability companies, as well as business torts, such as unfair competition, trade secrets, and employment contract claims; the dissolution of closely held corporations and family partnerships; real-estate litigation; and litigation relating to decedents’ estates. He also handles internal corporate investigations, white-collar criminal investigations, and legal malpractice actions.
Tim began his career as a labor and employment lawyer at Chadbourne & Parke, before joining Paul Weiss as a litigator. Prior to forming his own practice in 2009, Tim held partner and counsel positions at several New York firms focused on securities litigation and regulation. He’s also been a FINRA arbitrator (formerly the National Association of Securities Dealers) since 1998.
